AIEA HIGH SCHOOL AFJROTC

NEW LEADERSHIP DELIVERING RESULTS FOR OUR COMMUNITY

Welcome to the United States Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFJROTC) Unit at Aiea High School. Our Program was established in 1993, and it's based on the Air Force Core Values of Integrity, Service Before Self, and Excellence in All We Do. Furthermore, we have built on the Air Force Core Values to develop PRIDE in our cadets. PRIDE stands for Perseverance, Respect, Integrity, Dedication, and Excellence. Our cadets embody these principles in everything that they do.

The JROTC program is run for the cadets, by the cadets. They occupy leadership positions within the Corps of Cadets and are responsible for day-to-day management of the Corps. As the Program grows, so will their responsibilities. Although the cadets are challenged to follow and lead, they incur NO military obligations in this program. Our unit designation is HI-931.

The JROTC mission is to:

“DEVELOP CITIZENS OF CHARACHER DEDICATED TO SERVING THEIR NATION AND COMMUNITY.”

Goals and Objectives

The Goal of our program is to instill the following in our cadets:

  • Value of Citizenship

  • Service to the United States

  • Personal Respeonsibility

  • Sense of Accomplishment

The Objectives of our program are to educate and train our cadets in citizenship, promote community service, instill responsibility, character, and self-dicipline while also providing instruction in air and space fundamentals.

The Cadet Honor Code:

"I WILL NOT LIE, CHEAT OR STEAL, NOR WILL I TOLERATE THOSE AMONG US WHO DO."
